Decaf English Breakfast (Organic, Fair Trade)
Let's be honest, shall we? Decaffeinated black teas are nearly always lighter in flavor and richness than their caffeine laden former selves. The decaffeinating process, even if done as gently as is possible with the natural CO2 extraction, still takes away some of the flavor. I am always sampling decafs looking for standouts, and this Decaf English Breakfast tea is one I'm quite pleased with. It is rather light liquoring, but still has a lovely flavor and is bold enough to take a spot of milk, if desired.
Use one well-rounded teaspoonful per 8 ounces of freshly boiled in the water. Steep 3 to 5 minutes.
The teas in this blend originated from Fair Trade Certified estates in Darjeeling, India.
